Founder, DaMarcus M. NCRC, CIP
DaMarcus’s passion is to help people see what’s possible for their lives. Breaking through with his own Coach, DaMarcus understands what it takes to help his clients thrive. His vast experience, education and knack for inspiring people into action is why he’s become a sought after Recovery Life Coach. DaMarcus graduated from the University of Akron (in Ohio) where he studied Criminal Justice/Sociology. He is a certified Life Coach, Recovery Coach and Interventionalist. During his time in Seattle, DaMarcus has been part of the Law & Ethics Training Advisory Board for Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Professionals. In addition, he has been part of their Department of Social and Health Services Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse. In Los Angeles, DaMarcus has created program structure for new Treatment facilities, Sober Livings, Drug Courts and Community Reintegration Programs. Now, he utilizes his knowledge and experience as the Founder of MindSET for Recovery where continues to work with various Treatment Programs, Family Service programs and NIDA funded projects with the Rand Corporation.
Tracy K. CATCIII
Tracy is a mother and a recovering addict with more than eighteen years of sobriety. Tracy’s own journey led her back to school where she graduated with a specialty in Addiction Studies, and then going on to earn her CATCIII license and BS in Psychology designations. Tracy is a founding and managing partner of Inner+actions, a licensed Intensive Outpatient Program facility located in Woodland Hills, and has spent the last 12 years counseling and educating individuals and families in inpatient, outpatient and private settings. A highly sought-after facilitator of support groups and one-on-one sessions, Tracy specializes in creating appropriate care and support plans for individuals and their families.
Mike B. CADC II
Mike’s career in addiction treatment began through his own personal journey. He began working in treatment in 2009, and in 2013 he became a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor (CATC I) through California Alcohol and Drug Educators (CAADE). Mike began working as an Addiction Counselor and is now a sought-after Program Manager. He has been instrumental in the development of Treatment programs in Los Angeles while also remaining involved in direct care. He believes that to effectively help a person struggling with addiction, they need to be guided towards a new way to live. This belief in addition to his unconditional positive regard for others is the reason he remains a trusted guide in the addiction community.
Pamela J. NCRCII, NCIP
Pamela’s career in addiction advocacy began after losing her brother to addiction. She set out to understand addiction by hitting the streets to speak directly to addicts. Since then, Pamela has been instrumental in connecting addicts to relevant Treatment services as a Certified Interventionist and following up with their care as a Certified Recovery Coach. Pamela teaches her “kids” how to live a fulfilled life in recovery through goal planning and life skills building. In addition, she works closely with families on rebuilding healthy relationships while connecting them to additional support services as needed. Pamela, adoringly known as “Ma” is an important pillar in her community who works tirelessly with support groups and foundations. She lives her life with the intention to continue providing hope and support to those that mirrored her life before finding her own recovery.
David E. CADC, ICADC
David is an avid member of his recovery community. He attributes his personal recovery to the grace and love he has received from members of the recovery community. David is credentialed internationally as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. David believes in walking clients through recovery with love and compassion in a non-judgmental manner, allowing them to experience life sober. His passion for life, recovery and helping others coupled with years of experience as a Counselor and Coach is why he’s able to make such a lasting impact in the community he serves. David was an avid student athlete in high school and college. He remains active in sports and coaches lacrosse in his free time.
Natalie M. CADC III
Natalie’s career in addiction treatment began when she saw her family members lives changed through the recovery process. Since then, Natalie has wanted to see people through this life changing process and guide them through life’s obstacles. Natalie comes to us with over 6 years in the Substance Abuse and Mental Health field. Natalie began her education at Pierce College where she obtained her CAADE credentials and went on to graduate with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with her CATC III. Natalie has begun furthering her education at Antioch where she is enrolled in her Masters program in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Trauma. Natalie brings a unique perspective to our team and understands the ins and outs of addiction and what it is like to be in a family that struggles with addiction. Natalie has a heart for people and wants to see people and families live life to the fullest.
